We appreciated how much AVIORA valued comfort without making the itinerary dull. There is a tendency with “slow travel” to create too much empty time, but that wasn't the case here.
The days still had substance. We visited major sights, explored different neighbourhoods and had plenty of opportunities to learn from our guide. The difference was that the schedule allowed those experiences to breathe.
We also never felt deprived of quality. The hotels were upscale, the rooms were comfortable and the private car was a real advantage.
For us, that is the sweet spot: a trip that feels full when you're in it, but doesn't leave you exhausted when you get back to the hotel.
