What it is
Local help for the trip you have already planned.
Our private guide and driver service is for travelers who have arranged their own flights, hotels and trains and want local help on the ground. We match a guide who speaks your language (English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Chinese or Thai) to your interests and send a suitable private vehicle with a driver, for a half day, a full day or several days. You receive a written quote before you pay.
You decide the plan, or we suggest one. Your guide handles the language, the directions and the logistics at each sight, and your driver handles the road, so you are not negotiating taxis or following a map while jet-lagged.

The guide, vehicle type, service hours and price, laid out before you pay. There is no payment to receive a quote.

Once you agree, we confirm your guide and driver and share the details.
Meet at the agreed place
Your guide and driver meet you at your hotel, the airport or the station, at the time agreed.

Good questions to ask us.
Can I hire only a driver or only a guide?
Yes. Tell us which you need and we quote it separately. A driver on their own suits transfers and self-guided days, and a guide suits days where you want the language and the stories.
How is it priced?
By the half day or full day, depending on the city, vehicle type, service hours, number of passengers and luggage. We confirm a written quote before you pay, and there is no payment to receive a quote.
Which cities do you cover?
We arrange guides and drivers throughout China, not only in the cities where our offices are. Our offices are in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi'an. Tell us your destination and dates and we confirm what we can arrange in your written quote.
Are tickets and meals included?
Not unless your quote lists them. We can pre-book admission tickets for you and add them to the quote. Meals and drinks for you are paid separately.
Which languages do your guides speak?
Our guides work in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Chinese and Thai. Tell us your language when you ask for a quote, and we confirm the guide for your date in writing before you pay.
How early should I ask?
As soon as your dates are fixed. Peak periods such as Golden Week need earlier requests, and a longer lead time gives us more choice of guide.
Who provides the service?
Guides and drivers are arranged through Youyouhui (Guangzhou) International Travel Service Co., Ltd., a registered China company licensed for inbound tourism, operating as AVIORA. We have offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi'an.
