We were looking for “quiet luxury” rather than something flashy, and AVIORA came surprisingly close to that idea. The hotels were elegant without feeling ostentatious, the transport was private and comfortable, and the service was attentive without being intrusive.
We also liked that the itinerary didn't treat us like people who needed to be entertained constantly. There were slow mornings, time to wander and opportunities to sit down and simply take in a place.
One evening our guide suggested a local walk after dinner. There was no major attraction involved, but the streets, small shops and ordinary evening activity gave us a better sense of the city than another monument might have.
That was the moment I really understood what AVIORA was selling: not more activities, but a better way to experience them.
