For me, the strongest part of AVIORA was their understanding of time. In a normal holiday, you often lose hours because of check-ins, transfers, queues, taxis and poor routing. On this trip, much of that simply disappeared.
The private vehicle was always a major advantage, but so was the planning. We weren't backtracking across cities or spending half the morning travelling just because an itinerary looked impressive on paper.
The hotels were also chosen intelligently. We cared about comfort and quality, but location was equally important. Some evenings we could simply walk out of the hotel and discover the surrounding area ourselves.
I came away thinking that the real premium isn't necessarily what you add to a trip. Sometimes it's what you successfully remove from it.
