AVIORA was particularly good at making the trip feel luxurious without turning it into something artificial. We stayed in beautiful five-star and boutique-style properties, but we weren't insulated from China.
During the day we were able to visit local markets, walk through older neighbourhoods, try regional dishes and ask our guide all sorts of questions. Nothing felt staged. We didn't feel like we were being shown a carefully polished version of the country.
At the same time, we never had to compromise on comfort. We could always return to a beautiful room, have a proper shower and sleep well.
That combination was exactly right for us. We wanted the destination to feel real, but we also wanted our holiday to feel comfortable and special. AVIORA managed to do both.
