A more considered way to travel China.

We spent quite a while researching how to travel around China because we knew a first trip could easily become exhausting. We didn't want a large group, early starts every morning or the feeling of constantly moving from one attraction to another. AVIORA understood that immediately. They asked about our preferred pace, the type of hotels we liked, how much free time we wanted and even how much walking we were comfortable with. The final itinerary felt genuinely personal. The hotels were beautiful, with excellent locations and a level of comfort that made a noticeable difference after long sightseeing days. Having our own vehicle also meant we could stop when we wanted rather than following a rigid timetable. What we appreciated most was that AVIORA made China feel accessible without making it feel simplified.

Wir haben uns für AVIORA entschieden, weil wir China privat und komfortabel erleben wollten. Schon in der Planungsphase hatte ich das Gefühl, dass nicht einfach ein bestehendes Programm verkauft wurde. Man hat uns nach unserem Reisetempo, unseren Hotelvorlieben und unseren Prioritäten gefragt. Das Ergebnis war entsprechend persönlich. Die Hotels waren hochwertig, ruhig und sehr gut gelegen. Das private Fahrzeug machte längere Strecken deutlich angenehmer, und unser Guide war fachlich sehr stark, gleichzeitig aber locker und humorvoll. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Mischung aus bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten und lokalen Erlebnissen. Wir hatten nie das Gefühl, nur eine Liste abzuarbeiten.

Nous avons choisi AVIORA parce que nous voulions découvrir la Chine avec un certain niveau de confort, mais sans vivre une expérience entièrement standardisée. Dès les premiers échanges, ils nous ont demandé comment nous aimions voyager, quels hôtels nous appréciions, quel rythme nous convenait et ce que nous voulions éviter. Le résultat était très personnel. Les hôtels étaient élégants, confortables et surtout très bien situés. La voiture privée nous permettait de voyager sans stress, et notre guide apportait une vraie profondeur culturelle aux visites. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les expériences locales, qui donnaient au voyage une dimension beaucoup plus authentique.

Abbiamo scelto AVIORA perché volevamo scoprire la Cina in modo privato e confortevole, ma senza vivere un viaggio troppo costruito o impersonale. Fin dai primi contatti ci hanno fatto molte domande: che tipo di hotel preferivamo, quanto tempo volevamo dedicare alle visite, che tipo di cucina ci interessava e quanto spazio desideravamo avere per noi. Il risultato è stato molto più personale di un normale pacchetto turistico. Gli hotel erano eleganti, confortevoli e soprattutto ben posizionati. La macchina privata ci ha permesso di muoverci facilmente e la nostra guida ci ha fatto conoscere una Cina molto più interessante di quella che avremmo potuto scoprire da soli.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the hotel selection. Before speaking with AVIORA, I assumed “luxury hotel” simply meant choosing the most expensive five-star property in each city. Their approach was much more thoughtful. They looked at where we would actually spend our time and selected hotels that balanced design, service, location and comfort. That mattered every day. In some cities we were close enough to walk to restaurants and shopping areas in the evening. In others, the hotel gave us a quiet place to retreat after a busy sightseeing day. The rooms were spacious, the beds were excellent and the breakfasts gave us a relaxed start rather than another rushed part of the schedule. I also loved that AVIORA didn't separate luxury from local culture. We could stay somewhere beautifully polished and then spend the afternoon in a market, tea house or neighbourhood that felt completely ordinary and authentic.

Für uns bedeutete Luxus vor allem weniger Stress. Das private Fahrzeug war jederzeit verfügbar, die Hotels waren sehr komfortabel und die Transfers waren gut organisiert. Wir mussten nicht ständig überlegen, wie wir von A nach B kommen. Gleichzeitig wollte AVIORA offensichtlich nicht jeden Moment verplanen. Es gab freie Zeit und Möglichkeiten, selbst durch die Umgebung zu gehen. Diese Kombination aus professioneller Organisation und persönlicher Freiheit hat uns besonders überzeugt. Wir hatten nie das Gefühl, dass wir für unsere Privatsphäre auf authentische Erfahrungen verzichten mussten.

Ce que nous avons le plus apprécié chez AVIORA, c'est la liberté. Nous avions notre voiture, notre guide et notre programme, mais nous n'avions jamais l'impression d'être prisonniers d'un emploi du temps. Si nous voulions rester plus longtemps quelque part, c'était possible. Si nous avions besoin d'une pause, le rythme pouvait être adapté. Cette flexibilité est particulièrement appréciable dans un voyage aussi long. Les hôtels de qualité et le confort des transports complétaient parfaitement cette sensation de liberté.

Viajamos en familia y teníamos necesidades muy diferentes. Algunos querían caminar mucho, otros preferían descansar más. AVIORA consiguió que el programa funcionara para todos. El coche privado fue especialmente útil. Podíamos sentarnos cómodamente entre visitas y no teníamos que preocuparnos por taxis o transporte público. Los hoteles también fueron excelentes. Nos gustó mucho que estuvieran bien ubicados, porque por la noche podíamos salir a cenar o pasear sin tener que organizar otro traslado. Nuestro guía además fue muy atento y divertido. Nunca sentimos que el ritmo del viaje estuviera pensado para otra persona.

Parmi mes meilleurs souvenirs, il y a des moments qui n'avaient rien de spectaculaire. Un thé dans un quartier local, un dîner simple mais délicieux, une promenade après le repas, une conversation avec notre guide. AVIORA nous a laissé le temps de vivre ces moments. Le soir, nous retrouvions le confort de très bons hôtels, ce qui créait un rythme extrêmement agréable. Pour moi, c'est la définition d'un voyage haut de gamme: avoir accès à des expériences authentiques tout en conservant une qualité de service irréprochable.

Desde el primer contacto tuvimos la sensación de que AVIORA quería conocernos antes de vendernos algo. Nos preguntaron por nuestro ritmo, los hoteles que preferíamos, la comida que nos gustaba y las cosas que queríamos evitar. Eso creó mucha confianza. Una vez en China, la sensación continuó. Nuestro guía sabía adaptar el día, el conductor era puntual y los hoteles fueron consistentemente buenos. Lo que pagamos no fue solamente por las visitas. Pagamos por la tranquilidad de saber que alguien local estaba pendiente de todos los detalles. Para nosotros, eso es exactamente lo que debe ofrecer una empresa de viajes premium.

Nous avions peur que la logistique d'un voyage en Chine soit stressante. Avec AVIORA, elle est devenue presque invisible. Les transferts étaient organisés, la voiture était confortable, les hôtels étaient prêts à nous accueillir et nous savions toujours ce qui se passait ensuite. Cela nous a permis de consacrer notre énergie à la découverte. J'ai également beaucoup apprécié la qualité des hébergements. Ils n'étaient pas seulement luxueux; ils étaient choisis intelligemment pour servir le voyage. C'est cette intelligence dans les choix qui donne, selon moi, une vraie dimension premium.

We had a fantastic trip overall, although one day was more ambitious than we would have chosen ourselves. What mattered was how AVIORA responded. When we mentioned that we preferred a slower rhythm, they didn't simply say the itinerary had already been fixed. They adjusted the following day and made the pace more comfortable. The rest of the trip was very well judged. The private car was clean and spacious, the hotels were consistently comfortable and the guide was excellent at deciding when to add detail and when to keep things moving. For me, the value of AVIORA was less about any one individual service and more about how all the pieces worked together. You could feel that somebody was looking at the journey as a whole rather than just arranging separate hotels, transfers and sightseeing.
