When Seven Days Is Worth It
Add a seventh day for older travelers, families, food interests or a stronger Xi'an chapter. It can support a gentler Great Wall day, more hutong context, the city wall at an unhurried hour or a second Xi'an heritage experience.
If Beijing is your only destination, the 5-day Beijing and Great Wall journey provides a better one-hotel option than forcing Xi'an into too little time.
