How much walking is involved at Mutianyu?

The right answer depends on the ascent choice, tower section, weather, balance, confidence with heights and your own pace. Cable or chairlift access can reduce the uphill approach, but the Wall still has slopes, uneven stone paving, steps and exposed sections. Tell us what feels comfortable; your guide will plan a sensible route and turnaround point rather than force a fixed tower target.

What are the cable car, chairlift and toboggan options?

They are optional scenic-area products, not hidden charges. A round-trip cable car is approximately US$22 per person; a chairlift-up and toboggan-down combination is approximately US$22 per person; a one-way option is approximately US$15 per person.
